The comet is now getting closer to Regulus. (10:00 PM, Feb 25th 2009). It should pass just South of Regulus by Friday night. Although it can be seen with the naked eye, it is only barely visible as a fuzzy patch of light.
Early this morning this Great Cormorant was enjoying the view.

It was garbage day today and this pair of crows were up to no good. I was going to put the run to them until I saw how big they were, so I took their picture instead - that'll teach them.

A fishing vessel across the Bay between Carter's Beach and Port Mouton. These fishermen work hard and take risks both financial and with their personal safety - what they don't need is the by-products from a fish farm contaminating their catch.

Clouds started to move in as the sun was going down. I hope it clears up a bit tonight so I can have one last look at Comet Lulin before the bad weather comes in this weekend.
