Watch for the green Comet LULIN Comet Watch. I spotted the comet at 11:00 PM, just southeast of Saturn, with a pair of 7 X 35mm binoculars. It's not very bright but it's definite. It should be closer to Saturn by tomorrow night.
Still lots of snow around but with 'rain at times heavy' in the forecast it looks like it will soon be gone.

Still lots of cloud around - I'm hoping for some clear nights so we can catch a glimpse of Comet Lulin which should be visible by now.

Looks like the sky is going to clear up tonight. The Comet should be visible by 11:00 PM, at least with binoculars. It should be somewhere between the stars Regulus and Spica. Sky and Telescope.
