     The little birch tree needs a friend.  I'd go and talk to it but I'm concerned about what the neighbours might think  -  me out there talking to a tree.
Soon it will be Spring and its little Bird friends will return.

    A male and female American Scoter passing by.   Their quite common around here in the Winter.

      A French built Dauphin Helicopter made a circuit around Port Mouton Island this afternoon.  Earlier it made a close pass by our house, but I didn't get out quick enough to get a picture of it.
